PAGID RS – winningest race pad in US Sports Car Racing
PAGID and its technical partner teams closed out the 2008 US racing season in great style with 22 race wins in the American Le Mans Series and the Grand Am Series alone.
Highlights were the complete podium sweeps, not only at the grueling 24h race in Daytona but also at the prestigious Sebring 12h race.
The Chip Gannassi Team around Pablo Montoya won the Rolex 24 in Daytona whereas the Porsche factory team Flying Lizard captured the GT class win in the Sebring 12 hour race.
After a close, year long battle between the Porsche RSRs and Ferrari 430s, all on Pagid RS pads, Porsche captured eventually the American Le Mans championship.
In racing and especially endurance racing brake pads play a key role in the outcome of every race.
