PAGID teams claim ALMS and Rolex titles
In the two major 2009 US Road Racing Series, ALMS (American LeMans) and Grand Am Rolex, Pagid partner teams scored 21 race wins, 53 podium finishes and all available driver, team and manufacturer championships.
ALMS
PAGID’s technical partner teams pick up all titles in the ALMS GT2 class:
Driver, Team and Manufacturer championships.

Porsche factory team Flying Lizard with drivers Joerg Bergmeister and Patrick Long swept the 2009 ALMS GT2 title. They ended the year in grand style with their 6th race win of the season in Laguna Seca.
This victory secured Porsche not only the manufacturer’s title but was also their 100th ALMS win (most of them with Pagid pads).

But they are not the only ALMS GT2 team winning on Pagid pads.
One victory and the strong performance of Corvette Racing with drivers Jan Magnussen and Johnny O’Connell promises an exiting 2010 ALMS season.

Grand Am Rolex
PAGID’s technical partner teams pick up all titles in the Grand Am Rolex Sports Car Series:
Driver, Team and Manufacturer championships in the Daytona prototype DP and the Grand Touring class GT.

2009 Daytona Prototype Champions
Four victories and a very strong performance all year long put the Gainsco / Bob Stallings Riley prototype with drivers Jon Fogarty and Alex Gurney ahead of the competition.

2009 24h Daytona overall winner
Brumos Racing with a Riley / Porsche prototype and drivers David Donohue and Darren Law, won not only the 1st race of the Rolex series, the grueling Rolex 24 hour race in Daytona, but finished also strong with a victory in the last Miami / Homestead race.

2009 Daytona Grand Touring Champions
Four wins and several podium finishes secured Farnbacher Racing with drivers Dirk Werner and Leh Keen not only the Rolex GT class team’s and driver’s championship but also Porsche the manufacturer’s title.

2009 24h Daytona GT class winner
Porsche team and Pagid US distributor TRG had a fantastic one / two finish in the prestigious Rolex 24 hour race (GT class) in Daytona.

|
Mazda team Speedsource scored the Grand Am GT class race wins in Laguna Seca, Watkins Glen and Salt Lake City.

Koni Challenge / Grand Am supporting series
Despite four race wins and 7 podium finishes the Pagid supported BMW team Turner Motorsports missed the manufacturer’s title by
only 1 point.
PAGID pads also helped Porsche team TRG to win the races in New Jersey and Watkins Glen and the Porsche team
Motorsports Technology Group to win in Homestead.
