  No summer break for PAGID drivers

June 20
Craig Stanton and David Murry take Grand-Am 250 in Watkins Glen; Bill Auberlen and Tim Pappas win in Sport Touring


Driving TheRaceSite.com Racing Porsche 996, Craig Stanton and co-driver David Murry took the overall victory in the The Glen 250 Grand-Am Cup Series race at Watkins Glen International. It was Stanton’s fourth Grand-Am Cup race victory of the season.

In the Sport Touring (ST) class, Bill Auberlen and Tim Pappas co-piloted the Turner Motorsport BMW 330i to victory. Turner Motorsport BMW 330i co-drivers Don Salama and Will Turner continue to lead the ST point standings following a fourth place finish at the Glen.

Max Angelelli & Wayne Taylor win Paul Revere 250 Sportscar race at Daytona


The No. 10 SunTrust Racing Pontiac Riley team of Italian Max Angelelli and teammate Wayne Taylor earned its second Grand American Rolex Sports Car Series win of the 2004 season at Daytona International Speedway.

In a dominating performance, Super Grand Sport (SGS) polesitter Wayne Nonnamaker drove the No. 41 Orison-Planet Earth Motorsports Porsche GT3 Cup nearly flag-to-flag in the lead en route to his first career Rolex Series class victory. Nonnamaker led all but two of the 70 laps and finished one lap ahead of SGS co-points leaders Marc Bunting and Andy Lally in the No. 38 TPC Racing Porsche GT3 Cup also on PAGID pads.


September 19
The Racers Group finish 1-2 at Miami 250


The twin Porsches of The Racer’s Group drove a stunning race in the oppressive heat of South Florida, bringing home a seasons-best 1-2 finish. Kevin Buckler and Tom Nastasi bested the GT class, finishing 1st in the #67 Porsche GT3RS and capturing TRG’s first win of the 2004 Grand-American Rolex Sports Car Series, while RJ Valentine, Chris Gleason and Ian James stormed home in the #66 Porsche GT3RS, finishing 2nd in class. Kevin Buckler: “we couldn’t have done that without PAGID pads.”

PAGID drivers are dominating the American LeMans GT and LMP 2 class.
GT cars on PAGID pads won 6 out of the 8 ALMS sports car races yet and took five 2nd and four 3rd places. Also most of the LMP2 class winners have been using PAGID racing pads. Victory in Sebring International Raceway FL, Infineon Raceway CA, Portland International Raceway OR, Mosport International Raceway Canada, Road America WI and Petit LeMans at Road Atlanta GA.


September 25
Alex Job Racing One and Two in GT at the 1000 miles Petit LeMans race in Road Atlanta


Alex Job Racing drivers Timo Bernhard, Jorg Bergmeister and Sascha Maassen drove their number 23 Alex Job Racing/Porsche 911 GT3 RSR to victory at Road Atlanta in round eight of the American Le Mans Series. The number 24 AJR Porsche driven by Romain Dumas, Marc Lieb and Wolf Henzler finished in a close second. This is the fourth win in as many years for the Florida based team. Craig Stanton and co driver David Murry came in 3rd on their Peterson Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 RSR running also on PAGID endurance pads. Out of the 10 fastest GT cars 7 relied on PAGID racing pads.

Clint Field and Robin Liddell in the Intersport's Lola B2K/40-Judd won after the 24h in LeMans also the US endurance classic Petit LeMans on PAGID pads.


October 3
Max Angelelli and Wayne Taylor take closest victory in Rolex Series History at Virginia International Raceway


It was Max Angelelli's fifth consecutive podium finish and moved him into fifth place in the Daytona Prototype driver standings. It was the third win of the season for the No.10 Riley Technology team running as always on PAGID brake pads.

For the second-straight race, No. 36 TPC Racing Porsche GT3 Cup co-drivers Randy Pobst and Michael Levitas claimed the Super Grand Sport (SGS) class victory, finishing slightly more than six second ahead of their teammates in the No. 38 Porsche GT3 Cup, Marc Bunting and Andy Lally. It was the class-leading fourth victory of the season for Pobst, Levitas and PAGID pads.
