One/two finish for PAGID
Reigning Champ Car champion Sebastien Bourdais, David Brabham and Scott Maxwell piloted their No. 50 Panoz Esperante of Multimatic Motorsports to victory in the GT class at Sebring over the No. 45 Flying Lizard Motorsports Porsche of Johannes van Overbeek, Jon Fogarty and Marc Lieb.
Both cars run on PAGID yellow endurance pads and did not have to change pads at all. The 3rd place Ferrari 430GT on competitor's brakes, had to change pads twice
Grand Prix of Miami
One/two overall finish & GT class victory for PAGID
No. 23 Porsche Crawford co-drivers Patrick Long and Mike Rockenfeller earned their first career Grand American Rolex Sports Car Series victories and gave Porsche its first Rolex Series overall victory in two-and-a-half years in the Grand Prix of Miami at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
Christian Fittipaldi and Lucas Luhr came home second in the No. 39 Cheever Racing Porsche Crawford. Fittipaldi charged from the outside of the front row into the lead at the start of the race, and remained at the point for the first 15 laps. He turned the car over to Luhr to finish the race, and the German boldly charged past Pruett in the Chip Ganassi Lexus Riley for second just as the white flag waved.
In a thrilling conclusion in the GT class, Paul Edwards drove his No. 64 TRG Pontiac GTO.R past the No. 70 Mazda RX-8 on the penultimate lap to clinch a second-consecutive GT class victory for himself and co-driver Kelly Collins.
